We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Healthcare and Commercial Construction. This permanent position will be responsible for managing complex construction projects from start to finish, focusing on healthcare facilities and commercial buildings. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering them on time and within budget. This role demands a strong understanding of the construction process, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and inspire a team.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from conception to completion.
2. Review and interpret project design documents, specifications, and architectural drawings.
3. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project goals are met.
4. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
5. Ensure projects comply with all building and safety codes, as well as legal requirements.
6. Effectively communicate project expectations and progress to team members and stakeholders.
7. Manage and mitigate project risks and issues, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
8. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
9. Foster a safety-first culture by ensuring all safety protocols and procedures are followed.
10. Lead project meetings, providing clear and concise updates to all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in healthcare and commercial construction.
3. Proficient /Experience with: OSHPD/HCAI, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), Retrofit, Seismic Retrofit, Renovations, Expansions, Tenant Improvements (TI), Sterile Processing Plant, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Operating Room (OR), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computed Tomography (CT), Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD), and Healthcare-Associated Infections (HCAI).
4. Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering construction projects on time and within budget.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Proficient in project management software and MS Office suite.
8. Knowledge of construction laws and regulations.
9. Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
10. PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
