Night shift from 18:45 to 07:15; 3-12 hour shifts a week with potential for overtime.
\n\nJob Description\n
This position is for an Emergency Room Nurse in a P4 Trauma Center. The facility has 28 beds, with 2 designated as Trauma/Code rooms, and a fast track area. The emergency department handles an average of 70-75 patients per day, and the nurse to patient ratio is 1:4.
\n\nResponsibilities\n
- \n
- Provide critical care and emergency services to patients with various medical and surgical conditions, including trauma, sepsis, and overdose.
- Utilize critical care skills to manage cardiac dysrhythmias, critical drips, BiPap, Cpap, and mechanical ventilation.
- Conduct patient assessments and administer necessary treatments, including IV medication and vital signs monitoring.
- Collaborate with physicians and mid-level providers to deliver comprehensive emergency care.
- Assist with procedures and coordinate care with emergency medical technicians and support staff.

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n
- \n
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications are required.
- TNCC certification required effective 10/21/2026.
- Experience in a fast-paced ER setting and familiarity with critical care drips and techniques are essential.
- Ability to draw arterial blood gases and manage patient holds without supervision is preferred.
