Job Title: Commercial Loan Relationship Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The Commercial Loan Relationship Manager is responsible for originating, closing, and servicing new and existing commercial loans in the Indiana and some of the Illinois market. Responsibilities will also include identifying opportunities to sell additional bank products & services and referring internally to the proper area in a timely manner to ensure customer needs are met.

- Be the main contact for an existing commercial and consumer portfolio as assigned.
- Maintain current beneficial loan relationships and seek additional financing opportunities with existing customers.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the bank’s current credit policies and procedures, as well as the loan policy.
- Initiates Commercial Real Estate loans following the Bank’s credit policies and procedures. Loans will typically range from $50,000 to $500,000.
- Attend weekly one-on-one and bank loan approval committee meetings, as well as the monthly loan officer sales meetings.
- Maintain a weekly pipeline report to be discussed during the weekly one-on-one meeting.
- Complete all required forms, including but not limited to, Classified Asset Status Reports, as needed for regulatory or internal reporting purposes.
- Utilizes sales management training and tools to identify new clients through cold calling, networking, and market research.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, providing an environment of open and authentic communication.
- Adhere to all Legence Bank and AFMFS standards, serving as an example to other team members, as well as to our customers.
- Represent and promote the Company within the community through participation in bank sponsored events, philanthropic opportunities and civic events.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
The employee must be available during the "core" work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s in Business, Finance or Accounting (equivalent work experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Able to quickly learn new software
- Valid Driver’s License
- 3 years of Current Banking Experience
Preferred Education and Experience
- 3 years of Commercial Lending Experience
