Customer Experience - CRM Specialist
Location: Maplewood, MN
Duration: One Year +Ext

As a CX – CRM Specialist in the Consumer Home Environment Market (HEM) Portfolio Segment, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Leading the development and execution of data driven consumer engagement strategies across multiple channels, translating business objectives and brand strategies into enhancing consumer loyalty, improving retention, and driving measurable business growth through targeted communications and CRM initiatives.
  • Collaborating with business and marketing teams, our internal marketing centers, and external agency partners to develop relationship marketing content for activation in-market for USAC, strengthening metrics throughout the brand funnel and driving demand/sales.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams in marketing, analytics, digital, and product teams to align messaging and deliver a consistent consumer experience.
  • Execute segmented consumer marketing campaigns across email, SMS, and other digital channels.
  • Support CRM program optimization, including audience targeting, personalization, and A/B testing.
  • Track and analyze consumer behavior, performance, and engagement metrics across multiple CRM platforms to defined goals while informing strategy, in partnership with internal and external teams. Maintain CRM data hygiene and assist with process improvements related to consumer data management.
  • Quantify the value the CRM platforms & communication efforts contribute to the business.
  • Contribute to annual communication plans and lifecycle marketing initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations on how to best deploy consumer relationship marketing spend, to meet business group objectives for respective portfolio/market segment.
  • Developing and deploying Brand CRM guidelines (standards, tools and procedures) with Area Marketing Centers. Ensures all work is aligned to brand guidelines formalized.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, we require (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
  • Proven experience in consumer relationship marketing, or similar role.
  • Minimum five (5) years of combined experience in CRM, digital marketing, or consumer engagement in a private or public sector.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience developing promotional and email marketing communications programs
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience of project management and collaboration with or within agency partners.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Hands-on experience and proficiency with CRM platforms and marketing automation tools.
  • Familiarity with consumer segmentation and personalization strategies.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and project management skills.
  • Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position and provides best practicing sharing within work group.
  • Accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, leads, that deliver sales and customer retention.
  • Has command of the processes, tools and techniques within a specific focus such as User Experience, Content Management, Commerce, and Analytics.?
  • Develops and provides continuous process improvement, does data gathering and analysis, provides test plans and test scripts.?
  • Collects, consolidate and validate data from clickstream analysis, outcomes analysis, search analysis, business intelligence tools, multivariate testing analysis, surveys, external partners and other data sources.
  • Can create and present dashboards and reports based on data found

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • MBA or graduate degree from an accredited university, with focus on marketing or communications
  • Five (5) years of experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry
  • Five (5) years of experience with digital marketing programs
  • Knowledge and experience in mass retail, online, or DTC (direct to consumer) retail channels
  • Knowledge and experience with consumer insights and research methodologies for continued understanding of consumer behaviors, emerging consumer trends, and campaign performance
