Randstad Staffing is HIRING NOW for a CNC Mill Setup Machinist on Weekend Day Shift for a leading Aerospace manufacturing company. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a full-time role with a compressed schedule, offering a great work-life balance and premium pay!
Shift: Friday to Sunday
Hours: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (work 36, get paid for 40)
Pay: $28-35 per hour (12% shift differential included in listed pay rate)
Type: Direct Hire / Full-Time Employment
Key Responsibilities:
As a key member of our Weekend Team, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of sophisticated machinery to produce high-precision aerospace components:
• Set up, adjust, and operate various CNC Mill machinery
• Execute machine changeovers and efficiently manage production runs to maintain exceptionally tight tolerances.
• Adjust tools and modify feeds/speeds as necessary to optimize performance and part quality.
• Read and accurately interpret complex CNC code and blueprints.
• Perform SPC checks (Statistical Process Control) and complete accurate inventory counts.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace at all times.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of CNC machining experience is required, including proficiency in both setups and production runs.
• Strong foundational knowledge of machining tools and industry best practices.
• Demonstrated proficiency in blueprint reading and machinist math skills.
• Physical ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for the duration of the 12-hour shift.
