Key Responsibilities

As our Office Administrator / Receptionist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Front Office Management: Warmly greeting and directing visitors, clients, and guests, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Communication Hub: Professionally handling all incoming and outgoing phone calls, emails, and mail, directing inquiries appropriately.
  • Administrative Support: Providing comprehensive clerical and administrative assistance, including data entry, filing, document management, and preparing reports or presentations.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Assisting with scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating office events or travel arrangements when needed.
  • Office Maintenance: Monitoring and maintaining office supplies and equipment, ensuring the reception area and common spaces are tidy and presentable.
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and confidential office records and databases.
  • Team Assistance: Offering general support to various departments and management as needed to ensure operational efficiency.

Qualifications

To be a strong candidate for this role, you should possess:

  • Experience: Proven experience (e.g., 1-2 years) in an administrative, office assistant, or receptionist role, preferably within a corporate setting.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in both Bengali and English, written and verbal.
  • Computer Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfortable with general office equipment.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively in a busy environment.
  • Interpersonal Skills: A friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Proactive Attitude: A self-starter who can anticipate needs, take initiative, and solve problems efficiently.
