Now Hiring: Surgical Technologist - Seattle
Full-Time | Competitive Pay | 6 Months Contract
High Chances of Securing a Permanent Placement after the Contract ends
Location: Seattle, WA 98104
- Scheduled: 40 hours per week.
- Shift: 10 Hours in a day,
Hourly compensation: $30.00 - $ 40.00 per hour.
Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to local labor markets. We are open to negotiating compensation based on education, work experience, and certifications. We are complying with all applicable minimum wage laws.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Ensure proper sterilization and handling of surgical instruments.
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies.
- Maintain sterile field and enforce aseptic techniques throughout surgery.
- Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after procedures.
- Handle specimens for laboratory analysis per protocol.
- Anticipate surgeon’s needs during operations to support efficiency.
- Clean and restock operating rooms after procedures.
- Check and maintain surgical equipment functionality.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control guidelines.
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum of 1 Year of experience.
- CST certification for WA state is required
