Construction Project Engineer - Commercial Construction - Base Salary to 100k/year - Minneapolis, MN

• Our client, a commercial construction subcontractor specializing in carpentry and interior demolition, is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support and manage projects throughout the Minneapolis/Twin Cities area.
• This organization partners with General Contractors on projects across healthcare, retail, hospitality, education, and commercial facilities. This is a field-focused role, supporting Project Managers on large projects while independently managing smaller scopes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple small to mid-sized commercial construction projects from start to finish
• Coordinate field activities related to carpentry, metal stud framing, drywall, and interior demolition scopes
• Work closely with field supervisors and crews to execute project schedules
• Communicate with General Contractors, owners, and design teams regarding scope, schedules, and materials
• Review contracts, purchase orders, work schedules, and change orders
• Track project progress and provide updates to Project Management leadership
• Attend jobsite meetings and perform site walks
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and General Contractors

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in commercial construction
• Experience working on active commercial jobsites and coordinating with field teams
• Ability to manage schedules, track project progress, and support project execution
• Must reside within the Minneapolis/Twin Cities area

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 85k - 100k/year range
