Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time school psychology position supports students from early childhood through 12th grade in a North Adams, MA school setting. The role involves working with a diverse K-12 caseload, assessing and supporting students across early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school levels. The contract runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, with part-time and full-time opportunities available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments for students in grades K-12 to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention strategies to support student development and academic success
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and offer expert recommendations
- Monitor student progress and adjust support plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulatory requirements
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid license or certification as a school psychologist
- Experience working with a broad range of grade levels from early childhood to high school
- Strong knowledge of educational testing and psychological assessment tools
- Ability to engage with students, parents, and staff to foster positive outcomes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility to manage both part-time and full-time caseloads
