SYNOPSIS OF COMPANY/POSITION:
A warehouse operation is seeking a Material Handler in the Receiving Department to support daily receiving and order fulfillment. This position is ideal for dependable, detail-oriented candidates who are comfortable working with numbers and are seeking long-term stability and growth opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately process incoming materials
- Pick and fulfill sales orders from warehouse inventory and incoming shipments
- Follow established procedures to ensure accurate order picking and inventory control
- Communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers and supervisors
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Flex between receiving duties and order pulling as operational needs require
- Assist with UPS, FedEx, DHL, and freight shipments as trained
REQUIREMENTS:
- Basic computer and keyboarding skills
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16" and work with common fractions
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
- UPS WorldShip experience is a plus
- Valid driver’s license required
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
