Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Behavior Intervention Specialist (BIS) to support K-12 students within an elementary/middle school setting. This contract role will begin as soon as possible and extends through June 4, 2025, offering a consistent weekly schedule averaging 36.25 hours.
Responsibilities include managing a caseload of 8 classrooms and 40-45 students, providing behavior assessment and intervention services. The setting typically involves working directly with 4 students at a time. Key duties encompass completing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), thorough documentation and paperwork, and conducting debrief sessions to tailor behavior plans effectively.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Certification as a BCBA or qualifications as a Behavior Intervention Specialist
- Experience working with K-12 populations in educational settings
- Strong skills in behavior assessment and intervention planning
- Ability to manage multiple classrooms and individualized caseloads efficiently
- Proficiency in completing thorough documentation and collaborating with educational staff
