Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Saint Louis, Missouri. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring smooth communication and attentive customer service. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is skilled at managing multi-line phone systems.
Responsibilities:
• Greet visitors and ensure they are directed to the appropriate person or department.
• Manage and operate a multi-line phone system, handling inbound calls efficiently.
• Provide attentive and courteous responses to inquiries from clients and customers.
• Maintain an organized and welcoming reception area.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing correspondence.
• Handle switchboard operations for phone systems with up to 10 lines.
• Ensure timely delivery of messages and follow-up on unresolved inquiries.
• Collaborate with team members to support daily office operations.• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a receptionist or similar role.
• Proficiency in operating multi-line phone systems and switchboards.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Exceptional organizational and customer service skills.
• Experience in handling inbound calls in a setting requiring attention to detail.
• Availability to work part-time hours as needed.
• Familiarity with basic administrative duties and office equipment.
