Job Title: Certified Behavior Technician (CBT)
Location: Lacey, WA 98503
Duration: 15 weeks Contract
Schedule:
Monday – Friday
6.5 hours per day
32.5 hours per week
Compensation:

Up to $1,170 gross weekly (Local)

Up to $1,366 gross weekly (Traveler)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strong Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) to provide one-on-one support for a male high school student exhibiting significant behavioral challenges, including aggression. The ideal candidate must be confident, consistent, and skilled in behavior intervention strategies within an educational setting.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct behavioral support and intervention services

Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)

Support student in academic and classroom settings
-
Collect and document behavioral data accurately

Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and behavior specialists

Maintain a safe and structured environment

Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and punctuality daily
Required Skills & Experience:
-
1–2 years of relevant experience as a Certified Behavior Technician
-
Experience supporting students with severe behaviors and aggression
-
Strong de-escalation and crisis management skills
-
Dependable, consistent attendance record
-
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-intensity situations
Education & Licensure:
-
Active Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) certification
-
High School Diploma (minimum requirement)
