Schedule/Hours:
- Wednesday: 10:30 AM 11:00 PM
- Thursday & Friday: 6:30 AM 7:00 PM
- Varied call shifts, typically four calls per month (details reviewed during interview)
This opportunity caters to RNs with significant Operating Room experience, supporting both adult and pediatric surgical populations. Youll encounter a variety of specialties including ENT, general, vascular, endovascular, robotics, dental, GYN, ortho, spine, and neurosurgery. The position involves floating as needed, sometimes to sister campuses, providing further chances to learn and thrive in different settings.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience
- Pediatric OR experience required
- Current BLS certification (CNOR preferred)
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Degree accreditation required or 5+ years of OR experience
- Willingness to participate in a variety of call shifts and float to other campuses
- Must be located at least 50 miles from permanent address
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert care in the OR for both pediatric and adult populations
- Adapt seamlessly to different surgical services
- Function as a core staff member, upholding high standards for patient care and teamwork
- Participate in rotating call shifts and be prepared to float as directed
