We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team on a long term temporary, possible temp to hire basis. This is an on-site position, Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit financial reports from general ledger with supporting detail.
- Support the Finance and Accounting teams in the reporting process in coordination with Payroll and Accounts Payable.
- Provide support to the Assistant Director of Finance in reconciling payroll reports.
- Submit requests for budget modifications to ensure all funds will be expended.
- Prepare budgets for new and existing clients.
- Provide assistance to other Finance and Accounting staff members
- Resolve accounting errors on a timely basis with documentation.
- Prepare profit and loss models
MUST have qualifications:
- MUST HAVE experience in accounting and/or finance
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Similar
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills and strong analytical skills.
- 2-5 years of similar experience, preferably within the not-for-profit sector.
