Job Description
Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant (MA) for a busy specialty practice in Riverside. The ideal candidate will have a background in OBGYN or Oncology, along with strong clinical and administrative skills and a patient-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Prepare exam rooms and assist with in-office procedures</li>
<li>Take and record patient vitals and medical histories</li>
<li>Assist with exams, procedures, and specimen collection</li>
<li>Coordinate follow-up care, labs, and referrals</li>
<li>Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system</li>
<li>Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care</li>
<li>May occasionally be required to travel to nearby locations</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (preferred)</li>
<li>2+ years of experience in a clinical setting</li>
<li>Prior experience in OBGYN or Oncology is required</li>
<li>Strong communication and organizational skills</li>
<li>EMR experience and bilingual abilities are a plus</li>
<li>Must have reliable transportation</li>
