I am seeking an experienced Superintendent with active experience in adaptive reuse in the City of Chicago. This role requires a proven track record of managing complex construction projects and delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities for adaptive reuse projects.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and quality execution.
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards and City of Chicago regulations.
  • Manage scheduling, inspections, and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
  • Strong background in adaptive reuse projects and City of Chicago building codes.
  • Experience managing projects in the $5M-$25M range.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Elevator installation
    • Stair towers
    • Heavy timber loft conversions
    • Residential components
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
