Job DescriptionContainer Research Corporation, an AS9100 certified company with over 60 years in business, seeks a Mechanical Assembler. The assembler will produce shipping containers and other products by assembling parts and subassemblies.The right candidate for our Level 1 position will have at least 1 year of experience, proficiency with hand and power tools, a basic understanding of blueprints, and the ability to meet goals and objectives under direct supervision.The right candidate for our Level 2 position will have the above qualifications, but with 3-5 years of experience and the ability to operate a variety of machines and a general understanding of all processes in the department.Our level 3 position will only be considered for individuals with 5+ years of assembly experience, ideally in the aerospace or defense industries.Certifications in forklift driving and/or blueprint reading would be pluses.Job type: Full-time
Mon - Thurs 6A - 430PHourly pay rate: Tier 1: $17-$19
Tier 2: $19-$21
