Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract position is available in Moundville, AL, for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide telespeech services in a school setting. This role requires 14 hours per week and focuses on supporting the current SLPA by assisting with billing relief and related duties.

Key qualifications include:

  • Valid SLP license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or appropriate SLPA certification
  • Experience working in school-based speech-language pathology settings
  • Proficiency in telespeech service delivery
  • Familiarity with billing processes and documentation for speech services in schools
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload and paperwork effectively

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver telespeech therapy sessions to students as assigned
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to support student communication goals
  • Assist in managing billing tasks to alleviate workload for the existing SLPA
  • Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and related documentation
  • Ensure compliance with school and state regulations related to speech services
