Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a difference in the lives of young learners by providing speech-language services across Carbon and Lehigh Counties in an engaging preschool early intervention setting. This contract position is perfect for an experienced SLP who enjoys variety, hands-on collaboration, and flexibility to support students ages PreK-12 as caseload needs shift throughout the school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Pennsylvania SLP license and valid educator credential (Instructional I or II)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience working in school-based settings, with preference for preschool and early intervention
- Strong ability to adapt to itinerant roles and new assignments as needs evolve
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy in person
Responsibilities:
- Deliver itinerant speech-language therapy to preschool students within assigned county
- Provide services based on early intervention caseload during the year; caseload may adjust to school-age students as assigned
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation for all services provided
- Develop and implement IEP-driven goals for students in collaboration with educational teams and families
- Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and appropriate professional development throughout the school year
- Service a full-time schedule (35 hours/week) following the Early Intervention calendar
