Seeking Hotel/Resort background Director of Human Resources Professional, Port Charlotte FL.
Role Description $90-$120k plus incentives. Relocation Provided. Year-round resort.
The Assistant Director of Human Resources will assist in creating and implementing HR policies, manage employee relations, oversee performance management, and ensure compliance with labor and employment laws. Daily tasks include handling employee concerns, supporting recruitment, providing performance feedback, and working on strategic HR initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong Human Resources Generalist skills.
- Able to lead a team and interact with upper management and dept heads.
- Hospitality Training Skills for a Hotel or Resort.
- Experience in creating and implementing HR Policies
- Conduct Investigations.
- Proficiency in Employee Relations and Performance Management
- Familiarity with Labor and Employment Law
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment
- Certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is a plus
