Total Rewards Analyst- Worklife Balance
We are adding a Total Rewards Analyst- Worklife balance to our team. In this role, you are responsible for ensuring organizational compliance with federal, state, and local leave regulations. You will lead cross-functional efforts to monitor legislative changes, maintain compliance documentation, support program administration, and enhance Workforce Life Benefits (WLB) programs. The Analyst also provides training, communication, and project support across leave programs and related initiatives, ensuring employees and leaders receive clear, accurate, and timely information.
This role is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Arden Hills, MN (in office Tuesday-Thursday each week)
Key Responsibilities include:
Regulatory Compliance & Governance:
· Support compliance for federal and state leave programs, including Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML), state and local sick leave, and unpaid leave programs (e.g., school activity leave).
· Monitor legislative activity at federal, state, county, and municipal levels; update and maintain the leave compliance tracker.
· Lead the State Leave Task Force, driving alignment, clarity, and readiness across stakeholders.
· Manage sick leave program implementation projects, including system configurations, new state program rollouts, and training for HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and People Leaders.
· Interpret newly passed legislation and assess program requirements for operational impact.
· Provide recommendations to ensure policies, Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs), certificates, and employee communications remain compliant with applicable laws.
Communication & Education:
· Develop and deliver training to site leadership, HRBPs, and cross-functional stakeholders.
· Update internal training materials, maintain the state sick leave SharePoint/MS Page, and ensure knowledge base (KB) content remains current.
· Manage communications to new hires regarding PFML and state-specific sick leave notices.
· Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for internal partners regarding leave laws and compliance requirements.
Program Enhancements:
· Identify vendor concerns and escalate issues to ensure accountability and continuous process improvement.
· Evaluate existing programs and recommend enhancements, including improved technology utilization across WLB programs.
· Provide project support across broader WLB initiatives, including Leave of Absence (LOA), Time-Off Programs, Service Awards, Adoption Assistance, Tuition Reimbursement, and Family Resource Vendor offerings.
· Serve as a backup to the WLB Coordinator, supporting tasks such as employee terminations processing, FMLA inbox management, and handling employee escalations.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 5+ years of experience in HR, preferably with time off programs, leaves of absence, complex compliance issues, vendor partnerships, administrative efficiencies
· Bachelors degree or HR Certification highly desired
· Systems experience including: MS products, Workday
· Experience with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders of all levels in the organization and partnerships with legal
$81,200-$121,800. In most cases, candidates offered employment can expect to be hired at a pay rate near the middle of our salary ranges.
