We are seeking a highly organized and dedicated Full-Time Medical Assistant to support our clinic. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting healthcare professionals with patient care, administrative tasks, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the department. Key Responsibilities:
- Room patients and pull up prior imaging on computer for provider.
- Manage and update patient records, ensuring accuracy.
- Educate patients on procedures, follow-up care instructions, and spine surgery information.
- Respond to patient inquiries and manage correspondence.
- Assist provider with administrative tasks such as FMLA paperwork, RTW letters, etc.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an orthopedic or spine setting is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and basic medical software (Advanced MD is a plus!).
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Demonstrate commitment to patient-centered care and professionalism.
