Fives North American Combustion, Inc. is hiring a permanent, full-time CNC Machinist to join our team in Cleveland, OH.

At Fives, we all have a part to play in achieving our common mission. Your role will be:
- Ability to set up and run CNC equipment utilizing Fanuc controls.
- Ability to follow work instructions by maintaining specifications, by observing milling, turning, drilling, tapping, grooving and cutting operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance. Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
- Ability to read blueprints and inspect parts. Check accuracy of work against blueprints.
- Ability to read mics, calipers, OD’s, tool pre-setting/comparators, dial bore gauges and make proper tooling offsets in the machine tool, as well as proper speeds & feeds.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

- 3-5 years of CNC Machine operating/set-up experience.
- Background of machining of castings, iron castings preferred.
- Previous lathe and milling experience preferred.
- Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Associate degree from a 2-year college or technical school.
- Or 2-3 years of related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education & experience.
