Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's, Educational Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology
  • Valid Nebraska Special Services Certificate or the ability to obtain one
  • Nebraska School Psychology Endorsement or eligibility through reciprocity
  • Familiarity with IDEA, special education eligibility, and IEP processes
  • Proven experience in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and generating clear reports
  • Excellent collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams and district stakeholders
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough psychoeducational assessments to inform instruction and interventions
  • Determine special education eligibility and make evidence-based recommendations
  • Participate as an active member of the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT)
  • Support the IEP process by interpreting assessment data and suggesting strategies
  • Assist with the design and implementation of behavioral intervention plans
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, parents, and outside agencies to address student needs
  • Contribute to crisis management and prevention programs
  • Offer individual consultation and training to students, families, and staff
  • Adhere to state and federal special education regulations
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and additional duties as needed
