Aerospace Cable Assembly Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our team. This role focuses on assembling and soldering small components, with a strong emphasis on quality and precision. Candidates with aerospace experience and a background in wire harness assembly are highly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and solder small parts and components
- Strip, crimp, and terminate wire and cable harnesses
- Assemble components according to specifications, manuals, and blueprints
- Ensure all assemblies meet quality and workmanship standards
- Safely operate hand tools and power tools
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Previous assembly experience required
- Aerospace manufacturing experience highly preferred
- IPC-620 certification preferred
- Experience working in an AS9100 environment highly desired
- Soldering experience, specifically with cable harnesses
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, manuals, and drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
