Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) position is available to support a K-5th grade caseload in a school setting located in West Hartford, CT. This contract role focuses on providing essential speech and language services to students, enhancing their communication and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed Speech Language Pathologists in delivering therapy to students.
  • Support individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting speech and language development.
  • Utilize teletherapy methods when applicable to extend service reach.
  • Collaborate with educators and healthcare professionals to monitor student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Connecticut SLPA License is required.
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, especially within school settings.
