Job Description
We are seeking skilled manufacturing carpenters to join our team in a facility dedicated to building and repairing modular trailers. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using hand tools, reading tape measures, and operating equipment. Previous experience in basic electrical, carpentry, and plumbing is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry repairs and finish carpentry tasks.
- Responsible for cleaning and maintaining workspaces.
- Use hand and power tools effectively.
- Read and interpret tape measures accurately.
- Conduct roofing and painting as needed.
- Assist with electrical and window installations.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in construction and carpentry.
- Ability to use hand and power tools efficiently.
- Skilled in reading tape measures.
- Experience with finish carpentry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Must possess basic hand tools including hammer, screwdrivers, wrench set, and tape measure.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and welding is a plus.
- Capable of operating a floor buffer.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment
The role involves working both inside the shop and outside in the yard, with conditions varying from hot to cold based on the weather. Tasks will also be performed inside trailers, which may not be air-conditioned. The dress code requires steel toe boots, work pants, and a t-shirt. The company will provide safety glasses and gloves.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Midland, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr.
