Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Virginia Beach office. The role reports to the Vice President and will provide engineering and consulting services throughout the lifecycle of client projects.
Key Responsibilities

Perform all aspects of electrical engineering design, including conceptual studies, design analyses, calculations, equipment selection, and system layouts.

Meet with clients to prepare and validate scopes of work.

Manage electrical portions of projects in collaboration with project managers to meet budgets, deadlines, and client objectives.

Coordinate and communicate electrical design within multi-disciplinary teams.

Ensure compliance with quality control standards and perform QC reviews for other engineers/designers.

Prepare project programming, schematic designs, design development documents, and construction documents.

Provide electrical support during bidding processes, including addenda, amendments, and bid tabulations.

Oversee construction phase services such as RFIs, shop drawing reviews, and as-built documentation.

Develop commissioning proposals, plans, and reports; conduct project reviews, Prefunctional Checks, and Functional Performance Tests.

Prepare Operations and Maintenance Support Information (OMSI) manuals.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.

8+ years of relevant experience (K-12, office, commercial, retail, data center, municipal, and government markets).

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit.

Engineer-in-Training (EIT) license in Virginia.

LEED Accreditation preferred.

Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments.
