Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Compensation:$41-$47 an Hour

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide instructional services and support to students with visual impairments. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and collaborating with school staff and families to ensure students educational success.
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field with a focus in Visual Impairments

Active Texas TVI certification
-
Knowledge of assistive technology and Braille instruction

Previous experience working with visually impaired students preferred

Must meet all state and district compliance requirements including background checks and fingerprinting
