Job Description
Join a dynamic team in a casual and fun environment with growth opportunities and employee discounts. As part of the Midwest’s largest Nursery and Greenhouse team, you'll be an integral part of producing high-quality greenhouse products.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the supervision of sowing seeds, sticking unrooted cuttings, and transplanting plant materials into finished containers.
- Supervise the placing, spacing, and hanging of plants in the greenhouse.
- Work on an assembly line as part of a team to produce products accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain plant health by executing tasks directed by production management.
- Process orders by pulling and packaging plant materials from various growing ranges and prepare them for shipping.
- Assist in the supervision of Winter Product Assembly, including spruce tip pots, wreaths, and other winter décor.
- Assist growers with pulling and packing poinsettias for retail and wholesale customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Detail-oriented and accurate in the assembly and production of products.
- Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions within a team structure.
- Experience in production, general labor, and packaging.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to stand and walk all day.
- Comfortably lift 25 pounds regularly.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.

Work Environment
Work in a large greenhouse that can get cold in winter and warm in summer. Be prepared to work in all weather types while standing or walking throughout the day.

This is a Contract position based out of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.30 - $16.30/hr.
