Job Description:
Stafford Consulting Company, Inc (SCC) is seeking a part-time Project Management Training Developer/SME/Instructor with a strong background in training, curriculum development, and project management best practices to support and execute efforts for an Oregon state client. The ideal candidate must be a problem-solver who works well both independently and as part of a team and is comfortable receiving and implementing feedback on project tasks.
Job Location:
This position is remote. The ideal candidate must preferably work remotely from either Oregon, Washington State, Nevada, Idaho, and California.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

Part-time/1099 Contractor up to 1 year.

Operation tempo may dictate the daily work schedule. The ideal candidate must be flexible to meet the part-time needs Monday through Friday.
Travel Required:
Travel for occasional in-person meetings may be required, contingent upon the client’s need.
Compensation: $45–$70/hour, based on experience
Basic Minimum Requirements:

Current or previously held Oregon Project management Associates (OPMA) Certification (Highly Preferred/Strongly Desired).

2+ years of experience in project management.

2+ years of experience in adult learning methodologies and course curriculum development.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.

Ability to manage competing deadlines.

Experience supporting project efforts at either the local, state or federal level.

Comfortable with supporting complex client relationships.

Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Experience:
-
2-5+ years of experience in the development and maintenance of project management documents such as project management plans, progress reports and more, as required.

At least 1 year of experience in adult education, instruction, or frequent presentations, either virtually or in-person, or equivalent experience.
Desired Qualifications:

Active Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

Ability to communicate thoughts, ideas and solutions logically both written and orally.

Ability to stay calm under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to receive feedback from clients and implement changes quickly and effectively.

Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues.

Desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the subject matter
