Key Responsibilities

• Electronic Assembly: Assemble electronic components and systems following schematics, blueprints, and technical instructions.
• Soldering: Perform precision soldering of components on circuit boards (e.g., through-hole and surface mount).
• Testing and Inspection: Test completed assemblies using diagnostic tools to ensure proper functionality and compliance with quality standards.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and repair defects or malfunctions in electronic components or assemblies.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, testing results, and inventory usage.
• Quality Assurance: Follow established quality standards and ensure compliance with safety protocols and company procedures.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to resolve technical issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electronics or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in electronic assembly, soldering, and testing (minimum 3+ years preferred).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Skilled in using tools and equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering irons.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for handling small components.
• Basic knowledge of ESD (electrostatic discharge) procedures and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with surface-mount technology (SMT) assembly processes.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards or equivalent certifications.
• Familiarity with automated testing systems or software.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
• Capability to lift and handle objects up to 25lbs
