We are looking for a Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team and work 20 hours a week in Richmond, Virginia. This part-time role involves managing financial records, processing accounts, and supporting month-end close activities. Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

• Prepare and send billing statements to clients, ensuring all data is correct.

• Issue and process accounts payable checks, maintaining proper documentation.

• Assist in month-end closing tasks, including reconciling accounts and preparing reports.

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation for audit and review purposes.

• Address discrepancies in financial data and resolve issues promptly.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures

• Proven experience in bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Proficiency in performing bank reconciliations and managing financial records.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a part-time schedule.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
• Familiarity with accounting software and tools is preferred.
