Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A dedicated school psychologist is sought for a full-time, onsite position at an elementary school in Aurora, CO. This contract role extends from early December through late May and involves supporting a caseload of approximately 40 students. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in psychological assessment, counseling, and collaboration with educational staff to promote students academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations, including assessments related to learning, behavior, and mental health.
- Develop and implement individualized interventions and behavior plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student needs.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to developing educational plans.
Qualifications:
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working in an elementary school setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40 students effectively.
