Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience working within Agile/Scrum environments and be comfortable managing projects throughout the full project lifecycle. This person will be responsible for leading complex, cross-functional technology projects while balancing timelines, risks, resources, and stakeholder expectations.


Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop and manage clear, detailed project plans including timelines, budgets, resources, and risk assessments to ensure smooth execution from start to finish.
  • A strong foundation in traditional project management principles and processes, along with hands-on experience delivering both software development and IT infrastructure projects.
  • Experience leading initiatives that involve a combination of software, hardware, and infrastructure components.
  • Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to define project goals, scope, success metrics, and key deliverables.
  • Communicate effectively across teams, leadership, and external partners (such as vendors or customers) to keep everyone aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Track project progress, proactively identify blockers or delays, and adjust plans as needed to keep delivery on time and within scope.
  • Lead resolution of complex issues and coordinate across teams to identify risks early and put strong mitigation plans in place.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 3 years of project management experience in Software Engineering, IT Systems or related field with proven ability to deliver results on large-scale projects is required.
  • PMP or PMI/ACP certification is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate technical information in a concise way to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to effectively run and organize multiple projects with competing priorities and different timescales.
