Our Client is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee ground-up multifamily construction projects in Atlanta and the surrounding areas. The Construction Superintendent will manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, coordination with subcontractors, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient job site.

Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision: Oversee all on-site construction activities for ground-up multifamily projects, ensuring compliance with construction drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Subcontractor Management: Coordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure accurate and timely execution of work, including scheduling, inspections, and quality control.

Project Scheduling: Create and implement construction schedules, monitor progress, and adjust as needed to meet project deadlines.

Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, local building codes, and company safety standards.

Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to resolve issues, ensure quality, and deliver a superior product.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including daily reports, safety audits, and progress updates. Provide regular reports to project managers and stakeholders.

Change Orders and Issue Resolution: Manage change orders, address construction challenges, and minimize delays to keep projects on track.

Quality Control: Ensure all work meets Our Client’s high standards for craftsmanship and community design.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, or a related field required.

Experience:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in multifamily construction, with a proven track record in ground-up projects.

Extensive knowledge of construction processes, including site preparation, foundation work, framing, and finishing for multifamily developments.

Skills:

Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage subcontractors and interact with project teams.

Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or MS Project) is a plus.

Deep understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and construction standards.

Ability to create and manage project schedules and budgets.

Other Requirements:

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

U.S. work authorization required.
