All Jokes Aside Comedy Club, a Black-owned entertainment venue in Houston, TX, is on the hunt for a talented Bartender to join our team. We're all about bringing people together through comedy, music, food, and community, and we need someone like you to help keep the good times flowing!
About the Role
As a Bartender at All Jokes Aside, you'll be at the heart of the action, serving up delicious drinks to complement our premium nightlife experience. Whether it's a packed comedy show, a themed event, or a private booking, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming and fun atmosphere for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, and non-alcoholic options, with precision and flair.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring each guest feels valued and taken care of.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations during events and busy nights.
- Keep track of inventory and restock supplies as needed.
What We're Looking For
- At least 1 year of bartending experience—you know your way around a shaker and can handle a fast-paced environment with ease.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with guests and team members alike.
- A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for others.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask without missing a beat.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to adapt to the lively, ever-changing nature of our events.
