Position: Quality Control – Catheter Manufacturing
Location: West Valley City, UT 84111
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: 2nd Shift
Schedule:

  • Monday – Thursday: 10-hour shifts (evenings) Friday – Saturday: 12-hour shifts (weekend/3rd shift rotation)

  • Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour, depending on experience

  • Expected Hours: 40 hours per week

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector for a catheter manufacturing environment. This role involves inspecting subassemblies and finished products to ensure they meet internal standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on-site in a manufacturing setting and have a strong foundation in quality inspection processes, particularly within medical device manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Perform visual inspections, dimensional measurements, and functional tests on subassemblies and finished devices.

  • Record inspection results following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

  • Read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.

  • Evaluate products for compliance with internal and customer requirements.

  • Use Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) to support documentation and reporting.

  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to quarantine, evaluate, and disposition non-conforming products.

  • Initiate and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical device manufacturing or related quality control environment preferred.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production setting.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow inspection protocols consistently.

  • Working knowledge of standard office and quality documentation software.

Work Environment

  • In-person at a clean and regulated manufacturing facility.
