Schedule/Hours

• Shifts: 7p–7a
• Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks
• Weekend rotation: every other weekend (minimum)
• No call required
• Holiday rotation: 75% of holidays
• Flexible RTO with approval

Desired Qualifications

• Active RN license
• 2+ years of NICU nursing experience required
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Proficient in:
  • Basic ventilator management
  • Central line and G-tube care
  • Pre/post-surgical, tracheostomy, and gavage management
  • Blood transfusions and venous sticks
  • Infant feeding (breast, bottle)

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional care to neonates (23 weeks–term)
• Manage surgical and high-acuity cases in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Collaborate with a supportive team—including 2 charge RNs each shift and nurse assistants (1:20 ratio)
• Float as needed to General Pediatrics, PICU, Adolescent Pediatrics, and Pediatric Hem/Onc
• Document thoroughly using EPIC EMR
