Schedule/Hours
- Shifts: 7p–7a
- Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks
- Weekend rotation: every other weekend (minimum)
- No call required
- Holiday rotation: 75% of holidays
- Flexible RTO with approval
Desired Qualifications
- Active RN license
- 2+ years of NICU nursing experience required
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Proficient in:
- Basic ventilator management
- Central line and G-tube care
- Pre/post-surgical, tracheostomy, and gavage management
- Blood transfusions and venous sticks
- Infant feeding (breast, bottle)
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional care to neonates (23 weeks–term)
- Manage surgical and high-acuity cases in a Level 1 Trauma Center
- Collaborate with a supportive team—including 2 charge RNs each shift and nurse assistants (1:20 ratio)
- Float as needed to General Pediatrics, PICU, Adolescent Pediatrics, and Pediatric Hem/Onc
- Document thoroughly using EPIC EMR
