Job DescriptionWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development, classroom management, and curriculum development, with a genuine love for working with young children. This role offers an opportunity to foster a nurturing learning environment that promotes growth, curiosity, and social-emotional development for preschool-aged students. Experience with special education, early intervention, and play based methods is highly valued. The Preschool Teacher will play a vital role in shaping the foundational skills of our young learners through engaging lessons and compassionate care.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is required; classroom experience is highly preferred.
- 12 semester or 18 quarter units of Early Childhood Education Classes with the core classes.
- This is a FULL TIME position. Applicants must be able to work between the hours of 7:00am-6:00pm.
- Knowledge of childhood development theories, classroom management techniques, and curriculum development methodologies such as Montessori or literacy education.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.

Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that support literacy, math, physical education, and social skills.
- Plan and execute daily lesson plans aligned with educational standards and individual student needs.
- Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
- Provide individualized support for children requiring special education or early intervention services.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
- Ensure safety and welfare of all children by adhering to childcare regulations and best practices in child welfare.
