POSITION SUMMARY
Programs, sets up, and operates CNC machinery to manufacture complex precision parts for drilling and geotechnical equipment, ensuring dimensional accuracy and quality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Program CNC machines using G-code and/or CAM software</li>
<li>Perform complex setups, including fixturing, tooling selection, and offsets</li>
<li>Machine close-tolerance parts from steel, aluminum, and specialty alloys</li>
<li>Inspect finished parts to blueprint specifications</li>
<li>Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions</li>
<li>Mentor CNC Operators and Assistants</li>
<li>Maintain accurate production and inspection records</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED</li>
<li>3+ years CNC machining experience</li>
<li>Proficiency in G-code programming</li>
<li>Ability to work to tight tolerances (±0.001")</li>
</ul>
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
<ul>
<li>Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology</li>
<li>CAM software experience (Mastercam, Fusion 360)</li>
<li>Experience machining drill rods or downhole tools</li>
</ul>
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS &amp; WORK ENVIRONMENT
<ul>
<li>Prolonged standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, exposure to cutting fluids, metal dust, and noise. Required PPE at all times.</li>
