Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive medical and behavioral health support to individuals receiving services. The RN supports medication management, integrates physical and behavioral healthcare, and ensures continuity of care in accordance with DBHDS standards and Envision Health policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct nursing assessments and monitor health status Provide medication education and adherence support Coordinate with prescribing providers Support co-occurring disorder treatment Assist with treatment planning Deliver community-based services Maintain compliant documentation Participate in team collaboration Provide crisis intervention support
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program Active RN license in Virginia 12 years experience preferred Behavioral health experience preferred

Strong clinical assessment skills Knowledge of psychiatric medications Strong documentation skills Crisis management ability Effective communication
