Job Title: Group Leader Department: Warehouse
Classification: Non-Exempt Salary Grade:
Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor
Summary of Positions
Coordinates the workflow in a designated area of the Distribution Center. Maintains accuracy and efficiency in compliance with product handling standards.
Ensure all inventory control and safety guidelines are followed in the assigned area.
Essential Duties
1. Coordinates activities of a group of associates in a designated area in order to maximize productivity.
2. Assigns associates to specific tasks in order to achieve set production goals.
3. Maintains adherence to safety and processing standards.
4. Trains new associates on department procedures and job duties.
5. Maintains accurate and efficient department operating procedures.
6. Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
7. Reports all discrepancies to Supervisor in a timely manner.
8. Maintains accurate record keeping of processing information.
9. Utilize the WMS systems to control the flow and accuracy of the shift (Dispatch Track & Storis).
10. Aspirations to progress into a supervisory role with the company.
11. Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Abilities:
· Excellent verbal and written communication, and listening skills.
· Basic reading and comprehension skills.
· Basic numerical reasoning skills.
· Ability to complete paperwork in an accurate, neat and efficient manner.
· Basic computer skills
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Previous material handling experience preferred.
Physical Demands:
· Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand , push, pull and lift cartons weighing approximately 50 – 100+ lbs. repetitively.
Supervisor Responsibilities:
· This position does not supervise others.
Work Environment:
· Warehouse

· Scheduled shift.
· Schedule may vary according to business needs
