We are hiring for part time Phlebotomist for every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday! Base pay is $15.00/hour plus an additional $0.25 per year of experience (with a cap of 15 years).

Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently performing venipuncture and other specimen collection procedures. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, safety-conscious, and committed to delivering high-quality service to patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform blood draws and other specimen collection procedures for patients of all ages using proper technique.

  • Confirm patient identity and ensure accurate labeling of all specimens.

  • Prepare, process, and transport specimens according to established protocols and timelines.

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper function of phlebotomy equipment and supplies.

  • Adhere to infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines at all times.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by treating all patients with empathy, professionalism, and respect.

  • Accurately document procedures and relevant information in patient records or laboratory systems.

  • Collaborate with nursing, medical, and laboratory teams to ensure timely and quality care.

  • Report any unusual patient reactions, specimen issues, or complications promptly.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Completion of a phlebotomy training program preferred.
    • Current phlebotomy certification/licensure (as required by state or facility).
    • Prior phlebotomy or healthcare experience is a plus, but not always required.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to stand for extended periods.
    • Manual dexterity to safely and effectively perform phlebotomy procedures.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
