The position offers flexible hours ranging from 35 to 40 hours a week, with some Fridays reserved for continuing education or as needed. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring the comfort of our patients. Experience in assisting with surgery is required.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures by sterilizing instruments and setting up equipment
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments, suctioning, and providing hands on support
- Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist as well as a CBCT x-ray.
- Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring impressions and fabricating temporary crowns
- Maintain strict infection control protocols, including proper sterilization of instruments and adherence to aseptic techniques
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions
- Record patient information, treatment plans, and clinical notes accurately in patient charts
- Provide excellent patient care and ensure their comfort throughout their dental visit
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is required. Must be knowledgeable in surgical and implant procedures.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment
- Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus
- Proficient in taking dental X-rays and maintaining accurate records
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients and team members
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Must be Nitrous certified and CPR certified
