Job DescriptionJob Overview:

  • The Assembly Seibi Tech is responsible for supporting equipment installation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.
  • This role involves working with PLC systems, conducting equipment trials, and ensuring optimal performance in terms of safety, quality, and productivity.
  • The candidate will collaborate with vendors, perform system modifications, and provide technical expertise to maintenance and production teams.

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of industrial control systems and electrical circuits.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Hands-on experience with PLC platforms such as Toyopuc, Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, or Allen-Bradley.
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours including overtime.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in PLC programming and industrial controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Review equipment specifications and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct vendor buyoffs to validate equipment functionality.
  • Install and commission equipment ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Investigate and implement equipment modifications and improvements.
  • Perform equipment trials and adjustments to optimize performance.
  • Reduce project cost and timeline through pre-installation validation.
  • Oversee vendor installation activities and support process improvements.
  • Conduct quality verification using secondary methods.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot PLC systems.
  • Provide training to maintenance teams on new equipment.
  • Share technical expertise with production and maintenance teams.

Should Have:

  • Experience in industrial maintenance environments.
  • Knowledge of industrial robot programming and automation systems.
  • Familiarity with AGVs or AMRs programming and setup.
  • Understanding of safety systems and industrial networking protocols.
  • Experience in automotive manufacturing environments.

Skills:

  • PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Industrial automation and controls.
  • Equipment installation and commissioning.
  • Technical problem-solving and analysis.
  • Training and knowledge sharing.

Qualification And Education:

  • Technical degree or trade school certification in Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered.

  • Ability to lift and carry moderate weight.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks.
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
  • Good manual dexterity and coordination.
