Deliver expert nursing care in an emergency room setting, providing critical support to patients in both acute and non-acute situations. This role demands strong clinical judgment and the ability to independently initiate lifesaving interventions when physicians are unavailable. Utilizing a broad range of complex nursing skills, you will perform assessments, deliver treatments, and offer comfort physically and psychologically to patients and their families, all while operating sophisticated medical equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough nursing assessments, promptly intervene as needed, and contribute to comprehensive care plans.
- Continuously evaluate patient needs and administer skilled nursing services according to physician orders and nursing standards.
- Accurately process physician/provider directives and perform necessary follow-up for medication and order clarifications.
- Monitor treatment effectiveness and collaborate with the healthcare team to recommend and implement necessary adjustments.
- Support prehospital care by responding to ambulance communications and issuing appropriate instructions independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with emergency room experience.
