You’ll care for pediatric surgical patients across virtually all specialties (excluding cardiac), supported by a team-driven environment where open communication and resourcefulness are valued. This unit, with its “all hands on deck” mentality, will allow you to refine your skills in telemetry monitoring, manage common ICU gtts, and adapt to variable patient acuity—all while working alongside experienced transporters, a dedicated educator, and around-the-clock anesthesia.

Qualifications / Experience
- Active RN license and certifications in BLS and PALS required
- Minimum 1 year pediatric critical care experience required; 2 years preferred
- At least one prior travel assignment completed (first-time travelers not eligible)
- Confident with EPIC, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell, and Philips monitors
- Skilled in team-based care, resourceful, and eager to ask for help when needed
Duties / Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to pediatric PACU patients including telemetry monitoring and medication management
- Collaborate in an open bay unit, responding proactively to fluctuating acuity and census
- Participate in patient transport as needed
- Float occasionally to adult populations when required
- Attend comprehensive facility and unit orientation
