We are seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our exceptional rehab team at Camellia Gardens Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation in Durham, North Carolina. What You'll Do:

Evaluate & Plan:
-
Assess communication, cognitive-linguistic, voice, and swallowing disorders.

Create customized, functional treatment plans focused on recovery and quality of life.

Deliver Therapy That Matters:

Use evidence-based approaches to help patients improve speech, language, and swallowing.

Offer alternative communication strategies and swallowing safety education.
-
Provide caregiver guidance and home programming for continued success.

Collaborate & Communicate:

Work hand-in-hand with nurses, physicians, dietitians, and families.

Participate in discharge planning and interdisciplinary care meetings.

Document & Comply:
-
Keep accurate, timely clinical notes and billing records.

Ensure compliance with Medicare and all regulatory guidelines.

Lead & Educate:
-
Offer in-services for staff on speech and dysphagia care.

Engage in ongoing quality improvement and team initiatives.

What You Bring:
-
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of NC
-
CCC-SLP preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply!

A passion for improving patients' lives

Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
-
Experience in skilled nursing/rehab settings is a plus, but not required
